Session 6: Cardiac Surgery

Cardiac Surgery is the most familiar kind of heart medical practice for grown-ups as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). A solid course or vein from the body is linked to a blocked coronary (heart) artery during CABG. The bypassed portion of the coronary conduit is avoided by the merged supply route or vein. This provides an additional pathway for oxygen-rich blood to reach the heart muscle. CABG can relieve chest pain while also lowering the risk of coronary failure. Only in life-threatening situations is surgery recommended. The main goal of Cardiac Surgery is to improve the patient's life expectancy by improving heart function. These procedures are carried out by cardiothoracic or cardiac surgeons.

Session 7: Heart Failure

Heart failureoften known as Congestive heart failure, is a condition where the heart muscle is unable to pump blood as efficiently as it should. Shortness of breath is frequently brought on by this because blood frequently backs up and fluid can accumulate in the lungs. The heart eventually becomes too weak or stiff to fill and pump blood adequately as a result of some heart disorders, such as coronary artery disease (coronary artery disease) or excessive blood pressure. With the right care, heart failure symptoms and signs can be reduced, and some people may even live longer.

People with heart failure may experience severe symptoms, and may even involve having a ventricular assist device or a heart transplant (VAD). Preventing and managing conditions like coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, Diabetes, and obesity that can lead to heart failure is one method to do so.

  • Left-side heart failure
  • Right-side heart failure
  • Systolic heart failure (also called as heart failure with reduced ejection fraction)
  • Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction

Session 8: Diabetes, obesity, and Heart

Diabetes and obesity are two important modifiable stroke risk factors. Diabetes patients have a higher risk of stroke and a worse prognosis after a stroke. In Diabetes and obesity, risk-factor modification is the most important aspect of stroke prevention. This entails lifestyle changes as well as various therapeutic modalities to manage conditions such as Diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and arrhythmia.  Diabetes is curable, but it significantly increases the risk of heart disease and stroke even when glucose levels are under control. That's because people with Diabetesspecifically type2 Diabetesmay have the subsequent conditions that contribute to their risk for developing cardiovascular disease

Session 14: Nephro Cardiology

Infrequently used in the medical literature, nephro cardiology—or, in some cases, cardio nephrology—has implications primarily for the cardiorenal syndrome and cardiac effects of chronic kidney disease. Additionally, it has never been explicitly defined as a medical specialty with a certain scope, nor has it continuously conveyed the same denotation in its various appearances.

Nephrocardiologythe study of the interaction between nephrology and cardiovascular medicineencompasses a wide range of subtleties that are not typically covered in either field of study. All Cardiologists and nephrologists ought to be knowledgeable about those subjects, and a "nephrocardiologist" needs to be an expert in them. In order to determine the best clinical solutions for this complexity and to learn more about the extent of those interactionsnephrologists should also direct new research.

The expanding prevalence of cardiovascular diseases and the growing elderly population are the extremely significant circumstances leading to the growth of the market.
China’s population is aging at a quicker rate than virtually all other countries of the Asia-Pacific region, which is in part due to the long run of China’s one-child policy and remarkable expansion in healthcare amenities. According to government assessments, the senior population may point at more than 450 million senior citizens, by 2050.
The aging procedure is commonly linked with enhanced vascular firmness and diminished vascular compliance. Elderly patients have an elevated risk of developing cardiovascular conditions, such as peripheral arterial disease (PAD), aortic disease, and venous thromboembolism (VTE). This is principally due to age-related adjustments in vascular structure and rigidity, further compounded by longer coverage of cardiovascular disease(CVD) risk factors. Additionally, other factors, such as prompt technological advances, ever-increasing awareness of the population, and high-level preference for minimally-invasive processes, are also complementing the market growth.
CVD is not only the leading killer in the world but also the number one cause of death in China. In Beijing, the total loss of life expectancy due to CVD is projected at 317,813 person-years. That is, the loss of life per thousand persons is 24 person-years. Nevertheless, for critically ill patients, drugs have constraints. Under such as inherited defects, atherosclerosis induced by coronary artery disease, and acute heart valve diseases, patients ought to be treated more than that. Interventional medicines include PCI, bypass, open-heart cardiac surgery, heart transplantation, etc. In supplement to the total artificial heart, the supported artificial heart is more generally used. Three distinct kinds of devices, including left ventricular assist device (LVAD), right ventricular assist device (RVAD), and Bi-ventricular assist device (Bi-VAD) three, are utilized for various cases and conditions.
